What You’ll Actually Do
• Research Talent Markets: Learn to extensively research industries, companies, and talent markets to accurately identify professionals with relevant experience, understanding their career histories and potential beyond simple job titles.
• Engage and Communicate: Develop the ability to approach and communicate effectively with professionals you do not know, creating conversations through phone, email, and other channels, while presenting opportunities accurately and with professional credibility.
• Manage Hiring Processes: Work hand-in-hand with senior partners to conduct substantive career conversations, distinguish between experience, potential, and genuine fit, and prepare candidates for productive client interactions.
• Navigate Complex Decisions: Identify concerns before they escalate, challenge assumptions, offer opposing viewpoints with influence, and help both companies and candidates make better-informed decisions regarding compensation, timing, and priorities.
• Own Search Assignments: Progress to building and executing full search strategies, defining target candidate markets, managing research and outreach campaigns, and running searches through completion while maintaining momentum and communicating with senior leaders.
