The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Grand Hyatt Vail, located in Vail, CO. This Staff Accountant role is pivotal in supporting the Finance leaders in the daily execution of accounting tasks, ensuring the financial operations of the resort run smoothly. • Mission: To support finance leaders by performing general accounting duties, assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close responsibilities for the Grand Hyatt Vail.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Cashiering: Perform general cashier duties for the accounting department.
• Accounts Payable: Assist with various accounts payable functions.
• Accounts Receivable: Assist with various accounts receivable functions.
• Month-End Close: Provide assistance with month-end close responsibilities.
• Department Support: Execute other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Finance leaders.

• Background: Entry-level accounting professional demonstrating a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in an active environment.
• Experience: Commensurate with the role’s responsibilities, involving support for core accounting functions.
• Skills: Refined verbal and written communication skills, proficient knowledge of computer applications, strong analytical and organizational skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
