This is a full-time, exempt role at Made4net, offered in a hybrid capacity from Teaneck, NJ. Made4net is a leading provider of supply chain execution software solutions that help businesses optimize their operations, increase efficiency, and improve productivity. This Staff Accountant position is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, directly supporting the financial health of the company. The role contributes to informed decision-making by delivering timely and precise financial information and enhances the overall efficiency and integrity of the finance function.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Compliance: Ensure all financial practices adhere to GAAP principles.
• Reconciliation: Verify and perform reconciliations for Balance Sheet and key expense accounts.
• Accuracy: Check for accuracy and completeness across general and subsidiary ledgers, journals, reports, and accounts, adjusting as needed.
• Close Support: Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Reporting & Budgeting: Support various state sales tax filings and compile cost information for annual budget preparation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial acumen.
• Experience: At least 3-5 years in an accounting role, including experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, with advanced MS Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables); strong quantitative skills; exceptional attention to detail and accuracy; proven ability to be a motivated self-starter and meet critical deadlines.
• Bonus: Knowledge of SAP experience and familiarity with ClickTime software are a plus.
