What You’ll Actually Do
• Maximize general interest profitability by sourcing advantaged feedstocks for Phillips 66 refineries.
• Optimize assets through Phillips 66’s global market presence by managing strategic commodity transactions.
• Gather market intelligence, manage risk, and develop external relationships to create innovative supply chain solutions.
• Participate in the Phillips 66 Trader Development Program, engaging in structured training, mentorship, and hands-on experience to build an energy trading career.
• Engage in the KATALYST onboarding program, experiencing dynamic immersion into the energy value chain and networking with leaders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics/Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent field; or a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or MBA. Candidates must be graduating prior to December 31, 2026, or May 31, 2027. This is an entry-level position.
• Experience: Legally authorized to work in the job posting country and available to work at the Houston, TX headquarters.
• Skills: Analytical capability, strong interest in global markets and energy, desire to learn and perform under pressure, high-level verbal and written communication skills, business acumen, curiosity, innovative thinking, and valuing collaboration.
• Bonus: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, previous internship or co-op participation in a related industry, strong analytical skills, and experience with Python or related coding languages.
