Crowe is a global professional services firm comprised of over 300 independent accounting and advisory services firms across more than 150 countries, providing audit, tax, and consulting solutions. This Y-Hire Accounting Consultant role is central to clients’ financial integrity, responsible for developing and maintaining precise accounting principles, practices, and procedures to deliver accurate and timely financial statements.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide comprehensive monthly recurring accounting services for clients, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of their financial statements.
• Execute full-cycle accounting activities, including month-end close, precise journal entries, accruals, and detailed variance analysis.
• Manage all aspects of financial reconciliation, encompassing bank accounts, credit card transactions, and all significant balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and present month-end financial reports, statements, and analyses, including comparative balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processing, which involves reviewing vendor invoices and assisting with payroll management using systems like ADP or Gusto.
• Undertake special projects such as accounting records cleanup, budget development, financial forecasting, and preparing schedules for external auditors and tax CPAs.

• Background: Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures essential for developing and maintaining accurate client financial statements.
• Experience: Proven capability in performing full-cycle accounting activities for clients, including month-end close processes and account reconciliations. Demonstrated experience with various payroll providers is also expected.
