Business Trainee | Buckeye Corrugated, Inc. (BCI)
The Tone:
This is a full-time training position at Buckeye Corrugated, Inc. (BCI), located in an office setting. BCI is a privately held, employee-owned company with twelve corrugated manufacturing facilities across ten states, delivering an extensive range of custom-designed packaging, point-of-purchase displays, and fulfillment services. This role offers a comprehensive cross-functional training program over 12-18 months, crucial for developing future talent within the organization. It prepares qualified candidates for a long-term career and upline growth across key areas such as Sales, Customer Service, Design, and Operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program: Participate in an ongoing 12-18 month training program to prepare for a long-term position within BCI.
• Learning: Learn the technical, operational, and commercial segments of the business over the training period.
• Training: Be trained in all areas of our business, including Operations, Customer Service, Design, and Sales.
• Support: Work where needed and when needed based on workflow requirements.
• Compliance: Follow all ISO standards, established safety rules, policies, and procedures at all times.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High School diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving.
• Experience: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills; strong attention to detail; ability to read and interpret documents such as sales reports, operating instructions, and training and procedure manuals; ability to write reports and correspondence; ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, costs, proportions, percentages, and volume.
• Bonus: Highly motivated and results-oriented individual; able to work well both independently and within a team environment; a team player.
