Forensic Accounting Intern | Crowe

This role is pivotal in helping clients resolve complex business challenges by analyzing financial data and conducting forensic investigations. What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial documents for discrepancies and trace irregularities to their source during forensic investigations.
• Fraud Prevention: Research and prevent financial fraud through forecasting and risk assessment techniques.
• Case Investigation: Investigate complex business scenarios involving potential breaches, misconduct, or contractual violations.
• Litigation Support: Deliver forensic insights to legal teams and present findings for use as trial evidence.
• Project Execution: Lead or support project teams in executing high-quality, on-budget forensic engagements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level college seniors or graduate students pursuing an academic degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and proven ability to work independently while contributing to team success.
• Skills: Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a commitment to quality with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Bonus: Willingness to work flexible hours to meet client needs and an enthusiasm for building professional networks and relationships with decision-makers.
