The Accounting Associate is vital to the Accounting Department, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations. This position directly contributes to the financial health of projects and the company through diligent billing, reporting, and accounts receivable management.

• Mission: This role owns the crucial processes of issuing project billing, generating financial reports, and assisting with accounts receivable to support project managers and the accounting team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Billing Management: Issue monthly billing for multiple Project Managers.
• Invoice Coordination: Collaborate with project staff and the accounting team to create and send out project invoicing.
• Financial Reporting: Provide financial guidance by generating reports, analyzing data, and reviewing and processing company credit card statements.
• Collections Support: Assist in the accounts receivable and collections processes.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Perform special projects as assigned.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Three or more years of accounting experience, with demonstrated knowledge of billing practices, preferably gained in professional services.
• Experience: Three or more years of accounting experience.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, good written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage workload to meet deadlines.
• Bonus: Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable experience.
