What You’ll Actually Do
• Contract and Billing Management: Set up, meticulously maintain, and continuously monitor customer contracts, reviewing terms and pricing to ensure accurate billing and full compliance.
• Invoice Processing and Resolution: Prepare, critically review, and promptly issue accurate customer invoices, then actively monitor billing activity to investigate and resolve any discrepancies or variances.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and meticulously file all required accounting and reporting forms in a timely and exceptionally organized manner.
• Audit and Compliance Support: Provide comprehensive schedules, necessary documentation, and clear explanations to assist with audits, while also ensuring strict adherence to accounting policies and internal controls.
The Must-Haves
• Background: At least an Associate’s Degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating a solid foundation in accounting principles.
• Experience: Proven capability in managing and monitoring customer contracts, preparing accurate invoices, and assisting with financial reporting and audit support functions, demonstrating a keen attention to detail and a commitment to compliance.
• Skills: Strong computer proficiency, including expert-level use of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word), coupled with a robust understanding of fundamental accounting processes and procedures.
• Bonus: Proficiency with a construction ERP system, specifically Viewpoint by Vista, is a significant advantage.
