The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person role at TOPPAN Packaging Americas, located in Charlotte, NC (South End Area). TOPPAN Packaging Americas is a company focused on packaging solutions. This Human Resources – Emerging Leader Program (ELP) is designed to develop future HR leaders by providing foundational knowledge and practical experience across various critical business functions. The role is essential for supporting daily HR operations and contributing to strategic initiatives, while fostering growth in leadership, technical skills, and cultural integration.

• Team: Works with Human Resources, Benefits, Payroll, and Talent Acquisition teams
• Mission: To support HR operations and learn the foundational aspects of human resources within a packaging company through a structured leadership program.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Support: Provide administrative assistance and support for day-to-day HR operations.
• Research & Data Analysis: Conduct research and gather data to support ongoing HR projects.
• Strategy Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to develop and implement new HR strategies.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare necessary reports, presentations, and other HR documentation.
• HR Knowledge: Learn about company HR policies, employee benefits, and related information to respond to internal staff inquiries.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or Business, to be obtained by May 2026 or December 2026.
• Experience: Previous internship experience, preferably in Human Resources Management or a functional area, coupled with project management experience.
• Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, alongside proven analytical skills.
• Bonus: Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills, technical aptitude, learning agility, effective interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and work effectively with groups, adaptability, follow-through, attention to detail, self-motivation, and flexible thinking approach.
