2027 Finance Summer Intern – Colorado | Stryker

The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at Stryker, located in Greenwood Village, CO. Stryker is a global leader in medical technologies, driven to make healthcare better through products and services in MedSurg, Neurotechnology, Orthopaedics, and Spine, impacting over 150 million patients annually. The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Create and analyze accounting statements and reports to assist in preparing financial statements.
• Process Improvement: Support teams in developing and improving finance and accounting processes.
• Automation: Build ad-hoc templates and utilize ERP systems and Excel to automate and optimize reporting.
• Budgeting: Coordinate with departments on projections and budgets, and communicate variances against financial targets.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile balance sheet accounts and participate in monthly close processes and reporting.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field; must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship. Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire). Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships. Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
