The TL;DR

• Location: In-person, Irvine, CA
• Pay: $35–$42 hourly
• Mission: To gain practical audit experience by working on client engagements, testing technical knowledge, and assisting senior staff in financial data analysis and report drafting.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office suite

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Testing: Complete audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets.
• Data Analysis: Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data.
• Report Drafting: Help to draft management letter comments and the audit report.
• Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Working toward an accounting degree and CPA licensure eligibility; Entry-Level.
• Experience: Solid technical accounting knowledge.
• Skills: Effective time management, strong oral and written communication skills, close attention to detail, ability to work well with a team as well as independently, problem-solving attitude.
• Bonus: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
