GROWMARK Accounting Intern | GROWMARK FS, LLC

The Tone:
This is an accounting internship at GROWMARK FS, LLC, located in Milford, DE. GROWMARK FS is an agricultural cooperative headquartered in Milford, Delaware, serving approximately 13,000 customers across multiple states with offerings in seed, agronomy, energy, crop protection, precision agriculture, and custom application. This role offers hands-on experience in the accounting field, allowing an intern to contribute to general accounting functions while developing professional relationships within the agricultural sector. The intern will play a key part in supporting the financial operations of a significant agricultural system, working under the direction of the Member Services, Business Region Manager.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Experience: Gain hands-on experience in the accounting field.
• Relationships: Visit FS locations and customers to build professional relationships.
• Support: Assist with account reconciliation and balancing, budget planning, and audit preparation.
• Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports.
• Inventory: Assist with inventory counts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Entry-Level.
• Experience: Must be pursuing a degree at a 4-year university with the status of at least a second semester junior or first semester senior in good academic standing at the time the internship begins, with one or two semesters of coursework remaining.
• Skills: Demonstrates ability to work independently, strong collaboration capabilities, effective communication, customer focus, sound decision-making, commitment to skill development, and maintaining a valid driver’s license with the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.
