• Team: Transaction Banking Office for Asia (TBOA), Singapore Branch
• Mission: Drives business development and manages client relationships for Japanese corporate clients, focusing on cash management, supply chain finance, and FX, to meet evolving requirements across Asia.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategy Development: Support the planning and execution of Transaction Banking strategies tailored specifically for Japanese corporates operating across APAC.
• Strategy Implementation: Work closely with country-based Japanese Corporate Relationship Management teams to facilitate the implementation of regional transaction banking strategies.
• Client Relationship Management: Manage client relationships for cash management, financial supply chain solutions, and foreign exchange business by providing dependable support and customised advice.
• Product Origination: Originate and customise structured products or processes according to clients’ unique requirements, ensuring their needs are met with precision.
• Business Development: Drive regional deals in close collaboration with branches across APAC and pursue new cash management, financial supply chain, and FX business opportunities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a similar field, with deep industry insight into transaction banking or corporate banking environments, particularly those involving Japanese corporate clients.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience within transaction banking or corporate banking, preferably with a focus on serving Japanese corporate clients. Proven knowledge and experience working with cash management products or trade finance solutions, and a strong track record in winning deal mandates through collaborative efforts.
• Skills: Excellent negotiation skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities to build trust-based relationships, a committed team player, and a positive attitude combined with proactive engagement towards organisational targets.
• Bonus: Japanese language capability would be beneficial for supporting interactions with Japanese-speaking clients as well as engaging Tokyo Head Office stakeholders.
