Career Pathways Program Associate (2027-2028 Cohort) | Alfa Laval

The Tone:
This is a 10-month development program for recent college graduates, leading to a full-time role at one of Alfa Laval’s U.S. locations, including Houston, TX; Greenwood, IN; Kenosha, WI; Warminster, PA; or Richmond, VA. Alfa Laval is a global organization with a 140-year history, pioneering solutions that unlock the full potential of resources and inspire progress in vital areas such as energy, food, water, and shipping. This program prepares participants for long-term success by providing broad business exposure, practical experience, and development opportunities within the company. What You’ll Actually Do
• Learn: Understand Alfa Laval products, technologies, markets, customers, and business operations across all divisions, including Food & Pharma, Water & Wastewater, Energy, and Ocean.
• Participate: Engage in structured training and development activities designed to build technical, commercial, and operational knowledge.
• Collaborate: Work with peers and leaders on cross-functional projects that support business objectives and professional growth.
• Develop: Gain an understanding of how various functions work together to deliver value to customers.
• Contribute: Apply problem-solving skills and offer new ideas to support continuous improvement initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a technical field. This role is for recent college graduates (entry-level) interested in engineering, business, operations, sales, service, project management, product management, or other technical and commercial career paths. Candidates must reside in the US or have an established presence in the area, as visa sponsorship is not available.
• Experience: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Proven customer service orientation and communication skills. Ability to travel domestically and internationally, with estimated travel up to 50% during the program. Candidates must be willing to relocate to one of Alfa Laval’s U.S. locations upon successful completion of the program.
• Skills: Strong technical acumen and problem-solving ability. Ability to interpret technical data from multiple sources. A team player mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft tools. Curiosity and a drive to share new ideas are also key for success in this role.
• Bonus: Knowledge of heat transfer, rotating equipment, or fluid separation/filtration.
