Entry Level Accountant | Enterprise Mobility

The Tone:

This Entry Level Accountant position offers foundational training in business, accounting, and finance, directly preparing you for a future leadership role as a Controller or VP of Finance within the organization. The role is crucial for executing financial procedures, contributing to transparent financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Execute accounting procedures and principles to prepare accurate financial statements and perform financial analysis to support business insights.
• Operational Accounting: Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including preparing journal entries, expense accruals, and allocations, while ensuring a timely and accurate month-end closing process.
• Internal Control & Compliance: Conduct branch audit evaluations, assemble bank reconciliations, and perform internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Strategic Contribution: Analyze income statement fluctuations, provide ideas for process improvement and cost savings, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, managing financial records and assisting personnel with accounting policy questions to enhance operating efficiencies and profitability.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, along with a valid driver’s license featuring no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related convictions (DUI/DWI) within the past 5 years.
• Skills: Financial statement preparation, general ledger accounting (journal entries, accruals, allocations), financial analysis, audit execution, bank reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting.
• Bonus: Flexibility to relocate outside the local/state area within 1-3 years for promotional opportunities.
