The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Response: Respond to client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate, positive, and professional manner.
• Information Gathering: Respond to inquiries from clients and work with them to gather necessary information for the completion of required documents.
• Data Analysis: Use data analysis skills to discover useful information and patterns to provide support in recommendations.
• Process Improvement: Proactively identify improvement opportunities in processes to enhance efficiency.
• Audit Procedures: Perform audit, review, and compliance testing procedures in accordance with firm and professional standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, with completion of a corporate or individual taxation class required. This is an entry-level position.
• Experience: Demonstrated above-average knowledge in accounting, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher. Candidates should be working towards eligibility to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation.
• Skills: Ability to think independently and make sound decisions; good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and staff; ability to prioritize work, follow through on requests, take initiative, and meet deadlines.
• Bonus: Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data.
