Summer 2027 Accounting Intern | Enterprise
The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at Enterprise, located in Irving, TX. Enterprise is a large organization dedicated to providing real-world business, accounting, and financial training. This role is crucial for developing future financial managers who will learn all aspects of financial operations. Interns gain highly marketable skills and are fully prepared to join the team as an Accountant after graduation, with a clear path to managing their own financial operations as a Business Manager.

• Team: Collaborates with accounting managers, rental branches, and other departments.
• Mission: This person will learn fundamental accounting principles and procedures to support the financial operations of the business.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in preparing financial statements and performing analysis to support business insights.
• Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with rental branches and other departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
• Management Support: Support accounting managers by compiling necessary reports and providing administrative assistance.
• Transaction Processing: Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing cash receipts and petty cash.
• Vehicle Administration: Facilitate vehicle registration and renewal processes for the company fleet.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with an expected graduation date of May 2028. Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience: Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years. No drug and/or alcohol-related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).
• Skills: Foundational understanding of basic accounting procedures, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial statement preparation, and analysis.
