• Mission: This person will maintain accurate financial records, support month-end and year-end close processes, and ensure timely and accurate transaction recording within a supportive team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Daily Accounting & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records and assist with day-to-day general accounting activities.
• Monthly Close & General Ledger: Prepare journal entries, manage general ledger accounts, and support monthly close processes.
• Reconciliation & Discrepancy Resolution: Complete account and balance sheet reconciliations, actively researching and resolving discrepancies.
• Year-End & Reporting Support: Assist with comprehensive month-end and year-end accounting activities, including preparing financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Operational & Audit Support: Support transactional accounting activities (accounts payable, accounts receivable) as needed and provide documentation for internal and external audit requests.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, demonstrating a foundational understanding of general accounting principles.
• Experience: Seeks 1–2 years of accounting experience, with relevant internship experience considered. Preferred exposure includes journal entries, account reconciliations, general ledger accounting, or month-end close processes.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills are essential. Additionally, strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a collaborative and team-oriented approach, are required.
• Bonus: A desire to grow professionally and take on increasing levels of responsibility, coupled with comfort learning new accounting systems and a self-motivated willingness to learn and adapt.
