The Tone:
This is a full-time hybrid role at MorganFranklin Consulting, located in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. MorganFranklin Consulting is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to fully own and evolve its global events program and dedicated team. This high-visibility position is crucial for transforming events from isolated, one-off moments into a repeatable, revenue-driving system that supports pipeline creation, brand building, and community engagement. The role requires a strategic, detail-oriented marketer who can manage complexity, build scalable programs, and inspire an events team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and empower a high-performing team of events specialists, fostering an environment of growth, collaboration, and accountability. This includes setting clear goals, providing ongoing feedback, and championing professional development to maximize team performance and achieve ambitious business goals.
• Global Program Ownership: Design and execute a balanced event portfolio encompassing webinars, CPE programs, executive dinners, roundtables, conferences, and flagship in-person experiences. This involves translating business goals like pipeline and revenue into a clear annual events roadmap, applying a tiered event model, and serving as the single point of accountability for all event outcomes and quality.
• Operational Excellence: Manage and optimize the company’s presence at industry events, trade shows, and partner-hosted activations, ensuring brand consistency and audience engagement. Develop and execute multi-channel event promotion strategies across email, digital, and partner platforms, while continuously improving planning workflows and ensuring consistent use of event tools and platforms.
• Strategic Guidance: Advise business unit leaders and field teams on where events fit into the overall buyer journey and how they effectively support pipeline creation and account growth. This includes guiding stakeholders toward the most suitable event formats based on audience, objectives, and budget, balancing global consistency with necessary local flexibility.
• Measurement & Optimization: Define and track core event KPIs such as registrations, attendance, engagement, pipeline influenced, and ROI in partnership with marketing analytics. Deliver executive-ready insights to highlight performance, optimize the event mix, formats, budgets, and follow-up strategies, ensuring continuous program improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field, serving in a senior marketing management capacity.
• Experience: 6-8 years of experience in B2B marketing, with significant ownership of events or experiential programs. This includes a proven track record managing both organic and paid event strategies and execution, along with experience in employee advocacy platforms (e.g., DSMN8) and executive thought leadership.
• Skills: Strong writing and storytelling abilities to tailor messages for diverse audiences, an analytical mindset for deriving insights from data and making recommendations, robust content planning and creation skills with a strong editorial and visual eye, and demonstrated experience running targeted marketing campaigns with clear KPIs and conversion goals.
• Bonus: Preferred experience with people management, along with a willingness to travel at least 25% for events.
