Winter 2027 Tax Intern | Armanino

• Mission: This person will be responsible for preparing various tax returns and supporting client engagements across multiple industries, contributing to the firm’s tax planning and compliance services.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Return Preparation: Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns, including drafts, quarterly estimates, vouchers, extensions, and projections for clients.
• Tax Regulation Research: Research and remain updated on changes in federal and state tax regulations to develop tax planning skills.
• Client Project Support: Work individually and as part of a team to support various client engagements across multiple industries, such as Technology, Real Estate, Education, Cannabis, Manufacturing, and Non-Profit.
• Software Proficiency Development: Develop skills in accounting software through instructor-led courses, self-guided learning, workflow updates, and on-the-job training.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate and communicate regularly with a team of professionals on client projects using various channels like meetings, chat, and email.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in business with an emphasis in accounting. This is an entry-level internship position.
• Experience: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. No prior years of experience are explicitly required.
• Skills: Tax return preparation (Corporate, Partnership, Trust, Individual), tax regulation research, tax planning, effective collaboration, and professional communication.
• Bonus: Plan to complete the 150 semester/225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 – August 2028.
