Internal Wholesaler Trainee (October 2026 start date) | Jackson

The Tone:
This is an Internal Wholesaler Training Program at Jackson, a company operating within the financial services industry. This program is designed to provide highly motivated individuals with the opportunity to earn the necessary licensing and comprehensive training for a successful sales career. Participants will gain deep knowledge of the industry, Jackson’s products, and how these solutions integrate into clients’ overall financial planning and retirement strategies. This role is crucial for developing future sales professionals who will contribute to the company’s outreach and client support.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internal Wholesaler Training Program
• Mission: To learn about the financial services industry, Jackson, and how the company’s products fit into a client’s overall financial planning and retirement strategy, ultimately developing the skills to become an Internal Wholesaler or RIA Internal Consultant within 5-8 months.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Licensing: Obtain SIE, Series 6, 63, and State Life Insurance License registration within 90 days of hire.
• Project Management: Complete all assigned projects in a timely and efficient manner.
• Product & System Acumen: Learn Jackson’s proprietary systems, established sales model, and comprehensive product offerings.
• Industry Development: Participate actively in various trainings to develop extensive knowledge of the financial services industry.
• Sales Shadowing: Work alongside existing Internal Wholesalers and RIA Internal Consultants to understand the core wholesaling role, effective territory management, and product sales strategies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required; considered an Entry-Level career opportunity.
• Experience: No specific years required; experience working in a professional office environment is preferred.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), detail and process-oriented approach, strong work ethic, excellent computer skills, critical thinking, analytical skills, ability to be self-driven and follow through as directed by management, and enjoyment of working in a competitive environment.
• Bonus: Existing FINRA SIE, FINRA Series 6 or 7, FINRA Series 63, and State Insurance License are preferred; if not held, these must be obtained within 90 days.
