The Tone:
This is an early career Bookkeeper position at T&M USA, LLC, located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. This role is crucial for supporting a high-volume accounting and finance operation, contributing to accurate financial reporting and efficient processing of critical transactions for corporate, financial institutional, and ultra-high net-worth private clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Expense Processing: Review, process, reconcile, and facilitate reimbursement of approximately 150–200 travel and expense reports per week.
• Client Invoicing: Prepare and submit approximately 100–150 client invoices per week across multiple vendor management platforms.
• Payroll Administration: Support biweekly payroll administration for approximately 500–1000 employees.
• Vendor Invoice Processing: Review, organize, and process approximately 75–100 vendor invoices weekly to ensure accurate and timely payments.
• Financial Reconciliations: Perform daily reviews and reconciliations of bank activity, and research and resolve reconciliation discrepancies and other accounting variances.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Interest in understanding the processes and business rationale underlying accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience: 0–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or related professional experience; 0–3 years of experience using an ERP, accounting, or financial reporting system.
• Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel; strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy; ability to organize, prioritize, and complete high-volume transactional work within established deadlines; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and execute solutions in resolving routine accounting matters.
• Bonus: Experience with vendor management, procurement, or invoicing platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, JAGGAER, or Oracle Fusion; general understanding of ERP workflows, accounting processes, and system integrations; experience using AI-enabled tools or automation to improve repetitive accounting and administrative processes; interest in expanding responsibilities and developing within the accounting and finance function.
