Accounts Receivable Coordinator | Mathematica

What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoicing: Prepare and reconcile monthly invoices for federal government and private clients, adhering to specific contract requirements.
• Annual Billing: Generate annual invoices related to Indirect Cost Rate Variances.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile unbilled receivables balances and review accounting reports and records against original source documents.
• Collections & Follow-up: Manage the accounts receivable aging process and follow up with clients to ensure timely payment.
• Client Support: Answer inquiries and investigate questions from both internal project teams and external clients regarding billing and receivables.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An Associate’s degree in Accounting is required, indicating a foundational understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience: Minimum of one year working within a business environment, specifically handling financial tasks.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and proficiency with Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with knowledge of Deltek Costpoint and experience in a job-costing or basic project accounting environment.
