What You’ll Actually Do
• Compliance & Systems Oversight: Actively support the development, communication, and execution of all compliance activities, ensuring adherence to the compliance handbook, and further assist with plans and site activities related to the management of quality and environment systems.
• Financial Reporting & Reconciliation: Take responsibility for managing the operational balance sheet, conducting thorough reconciliations, and investigating and reporting any irregularities to maintain financial integrity and accuracy.
• Month-End Close Coordination: Coordinate the efficient gathering of information and processing of accounts required for the successful completion of the month-end close process, including providing essential assistance to the Controller for preparing month-end packages.
• Program Costing Support: Provide direct assistance to Program Management in accurately costing new products and programs, contributing to strategic decision-making and product development initiatives.
• Payables & Enterprise Program Administration: Process all facility payables, including diligent record-keeping of these transactions, ensuring purchase ledgers are administered efficiently and accurately with all payments being made on time, and administer Textron Enterprise Programs such as Ariba and Captura.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or another directly related field, positioning the candidate as an ideal entry-level professional ready to contribute immediately to financial operations.
• Experience: Demonstrate a good understanding of core accounting principles and practical knowledge of using Excel for financial data management, along with familiarity with ERP systems.
• Skills: Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders in a professional financial environment.
