What You’ll Actually Do
• Recordkeeping: Manage day-to-day financial recordkeeping to ensure accuracy and support operations.
• Transactions: Process accounts payable and receivable, and meticulously track all company expenses.
• Reconciliation: Maintain accurate ledgers, record all journal entries, and perform regular account reconciliations.
• Reporting: Assist with the preparation of financial statements and support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Compliance: Help ensure strict compliance with internal controls, established accounting policies, and respond to audit or review requests as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping, or equivalent practical experience.
• Skills: Financial Statements and Finance for analysis and reporting; Bookkeeping and Journal Entries for accurate record maintenance; Proficiency in Accounting Software for data entry and report generation; Effective written and verbal communication; Ability to collaborate with remote team members and management.
• Bonus: Prior experience in a construction, trade, or service-based business environment.
