The Tone:

This role is critical for maintaining financial accuracy by ensuring daily and monthly bank reconciliations are precise and timely across a complex account structure. What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconcile Accounts: Perform assigned daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts across the Company’s multi-entity structure.
• Investigate Discrepancies: Compare bank statements to the general ledger, identify basic discrepancies, and research unreconciled transactions including deposits, withdrawals, ACH payments, wire transfers, and checks.
• Support Cash Operations: Assist with ensuring daily cash activity is recorded accurately and timely in support of cash upload and close deadlines.
• Prepare Journal Entries: Prepare routine journal entries and their supporting documentation for review and approval.
• Facilitate Month-End: Support month-end close by completing assigned reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation by established deadlines.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Basic understanding of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation principles.
• Experience: 2-4 years of accounting, cash reconciliation, accounts receivable, accounts payable, or related finance experience.
• Skills: Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, strong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and effective written and verbal communication.
• Bonus: Experience with NetSuite or another ERP/accounting system.
