The Tone:
This is a permanent, part-time to full-time role at Dcubed, located in Johnstown, Colorado, with hybrid/onsite flexibility. Dcubed is a rapidly scaling aerospace company that develops durable and affordable space hardware, including solar arrays and deployable structures, to accelerate space exploration. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate accounting and logistics records, ensuring smooth customer order processing, and supporting financial operations for a growing business.

• Mission: Support accurate accounting and logistics administration to ensure efficient transaction processing and well-organized records.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Processing: Process customer order records, invoices, payment updates, and shipment documentation within the company ERP system, ensuring accuracy and currency.
• Financial Support: Support accounts receivable activities, including customer invoicing and payment tracking, and assist with accounts payable by reviewing vendor bills for payment processing.
• Logistics Documentation: Track and document shipping costs, freight charges, taxes, and tariffs, maintaining organized records related to shipments, customer returns, and delivery confirmations.
• Month-End Coordination: Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities by preparing reconciliations and reports, and coordinate documentation with external accounting partners.
• Administrative Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve recordkeeping accuracy, documentation quality, and administrative workflows, supporting the US Operations Manager with recurring activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. Entry-level.
• Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience, recent graduates and current students nearing degree completion are encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Understanding of basic accounting principles, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and account reconciliation; strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy; strong Excel and spreadsheet skills; effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Internship, bookkeeping, administrative accounting, ERP, or logistics-related experience. Experience with ERP systems, accounting software, or bookkeeping platforms.
