• Mission: This person is responsible for maintaining the integrity of general ledger accounts, processing financial transactions, managing time-sheets, and supporting project-specific accounting and billing processes for a multidisciplinary firm.

What You’ll Actually Do
• General Ledger Oversight: Review and reconcile various general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
• Banking Operations: Perform thorough bank reconciliations and conduct reviews of banking activities.
• Time-sheet Administration: Manage the processing and administration of time-sheets for the organization.
• Transaction Processing: Handle the processing of both accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.
• Project Accounting & Billing: Maintain project-related accounting records and collaborate closely with project managers to prepare and process contract billings for clients.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required for this early career position.
• Experience: Candidates should possess 0-2 years of relevant Accounting experience, which can include internships or co-op experience. Desired qualifications include project accounting and client invoicing experience.
• Skills: Strong knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel and Word are essential. The role demands excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate must be flexible, maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate the ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Bonus: A background in the construction industry or specific experience with project costing would be a significant advantage for this position.
