Vice President, Private Side Distribution – Capital Markets Group | Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group

• Team: Capital Markets Group (CMG)
• Mission: This person owns the distribution of syndicated loan products to institutional and bank investors across Australia and New Zealand.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Investor Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with active loan market investors, including institutional investors and banks, across Australia and New Zealand.
• Transaction Leadership: Lead the distribution and bookrunning of Australian and New Zealand primary syndicated loan transactions, from origination through financial close.
• Market Intelligence: Provide market insights, investor feedback, and pricing and liquidity analysis to support client discussions and optimize transaction structures.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with CMG colleagues, product teams, and global distribution desks to maximize distribution outcomes and obtain latest market insights.
• Distribution Initiatives: Drive CMG strategic distribution initiatives, including evaluating investor appetite for bespoke deal opportunities and supporting secondary sales efforts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Degree level education (Undergraduate/Masters) from leading universities with a strong understanding of loan syndication, debt markets, and investor dynamics.
• Experience: 8+ years of experience in a Syndications, Debt Capital Markets, or Coverage role at an Australian Major or a large financial institution operating internationally, managing multiple transaction workstreams.
• Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Bonus: Candidates with experience in structured loan products, including leveraged or project finance, will be positively received.
