What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconciliation: Perform high-volume reconciliation of vendor bills against sales orders, including domestic freight charges and related discrepancies.
• General Ledger: Complete monthly general ledger reconciliations across hundreds of transactions and reconcile transactions and deposits across payment platforms.
• Accounts Receivable: Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable for key customer accounts, including invoicing, payment application, account reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Systems Support: Support NetSuite initiatives, including NetSuite Analytics Warehouse and NetSuite Planning & Budgeting, by assisting with data setup, validation, testing, and reconciliation.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline manual accounting processes, improve accuracy and efficiency, and resolve transaction and reporting issues through internal collaboration.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Individual Contributor. Strong accounting foundation with a comprehensive understanding of general ledger accounting and account reconciliations.
• Experience: 2–5+ years of accounting, AR, or reconciliation experience, with specific experience in Accounts Receivable and payment reconciliation; NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
• Skills: Strong Excel proficiency to work with large datasets, robust analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail, and the ability to independently investigate discrepancies through to resolution.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Braintree, PayPal, Shopify, or similar payment/e-commerce platforms, experience with inventory reconciliation, or involvement in ERP implementation, system migration, or financial data validation.
