Analyst, Financial Operations (AP) | Care Access

The Tone:
This is an early career role at Care Access, a growing organization with hundreds of research locations and clinicians globally, located remotely within the United States. Care Access is dedicated to making the future of health better for all by bringing world-class research and health services directly to communities that often face barriers to care. This role is a key member of the Financial Operations team, directly supporting accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations through diligent transaction execution. This position helps ensure financial activity is properly documented, accurately reflected in company systems, and aligned to business requirements.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Processing: Perform day-to-day Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing, and cash application tasks.
• Financial Documentation: Prepare and review vendor bills, customer invoices, sponsor billing support, and payment records.
• Reconciliations & Reporting: Support basic reconciliations, month-end close activities, reporting updates, and account research.
• Issue Resolution: Respond to routine internal and external inquiries, research basic discrepancies, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Process Improvement: Support small process improvements, team backup coverage, system testing, and special projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-Level professional with a preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Understands core Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, and how they support accurate financial reporting, cash flow visibility, and month-end close.
• Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, cash application, or a related business function. Internship, administrative finance, or accounting support experience may be considered.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, reconciliation, reporting, and analytical skills, problem solving and issue resolution, cross-functional collaboration, and integrity with confidentiality.
• Bonus: Experience using ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle), billing systems, procurement platforms, workflow tools, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or financial reporting tools. Experience in clinical research, healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or professional services industry.
