• Mission: To develop, manage, and grow relationships with financial institution clients by originating financing opportunities and designing product solutions.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop and Manage Relationships: Develop and manage relationships with a diverse portfolio of financial services clients, including banks, insurance companies, asset managers, and securities companies.
• Originate Opportunities: Lead the origination of financing and advisory opportunities, such as capital raises, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) advisory, Foreign Exchange (FX) hedging, capital markets, and securitization.
• Design Product Solutions: Design and implement comprehensive product solutions that address client needs for capital adequacy, liquidity management, hedging, and regulatory compliance.
• Execute Transactions: Execute transaction processes by coordinating effectively with internal capital markets, structured finance, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), and Foreign Exchange (FX) product teams.
• Analyze Market Trends: Assess industry trends and regulatory changes, translating their implications into actionable client dialogue and product recommendations to drive business growth.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior professional with proven expertise in client coverage, relationship management, and origination within the corporate banking or financial institutional business segment.
• Experience: 7-10 years of experience specifically covering financial institution clients, demonstrating advanced knowledge of capital markets, M&A, securitization, structured finance, and FX hedging product solutions. Proven ability to identify opportunities and translate industry trends into client strategies.
• Skills: Thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks (capital adequacy, liquidity, compliance), comprehensive grasp of transaction execution workflows, regulatory approvals, and documentation for cross-border mandates, and demonstrated ability to coordinate internal product, credit, and risk partners to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Bonus: Independent, well-organized, self-motivated, and capable of multi-tasking and performing effectively under pressure.
