The TL;DR

• Mission: Ensure accurate and compliant financial record-keeping to support the operational excellence of hotel properties.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Record Review: Review the work of the Night Audit Staff, General Cashier, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
• Cash Handling Oversight: Review the daily processing of cash drops and prepare deposits.
• Account Reconciliation: Assist in the monthly account reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
• Month-End Support: Assist with month-end tasks, including running and electronically saving standard month-end owner reports.
• Administrative Support: Provide clerical support to Accounting Management when required and perform other assigned duties to meet business objectives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High School or equivalent education is required.
• Experience: One or more years of accounting experience is preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, with most proficiency in Excel; strong mathematical operation skills; ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; good verbal and written communication skills.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business Education; prior accounting experience in a hotel environment.
