What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Preparation: Prepare individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns.
• Accounting Services: Assist with bookkeeping and accounting services for small businesses.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and adjusting journal entries.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts.
• Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to answer questions, request information, and learn tax planning strategies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or expected completion soon).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of accounting experience, with public accounting preferred.
• Skills: Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel; strong organizational and communication abilities; a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Bonus: CPA eligibility or pursuit is a plus but not required.
