Digital Rotational Analyst | Charter Manufacturing

The Tone:
This is a full-time rotational program at Charter Manufacturing, located in Mequon, WI, offering hybrid flexibility with three days in the office and two days remote. Charter Manufacturing is a fourth-generation family-owned business specializing in steel and iron production and manufacturing, founded in the 1930s. Their will to grow drives continuous improvement and an entrepreneurial spirit throughout the Charter family. This program is designed for December 2026 graduates to accelerate professional growth and build a strong foundation in both Digital Technology and business operations. The role is crucial for learning, solving complex business challenges, and making a meaningful impact while exploring the many facets of Digital Technology across the organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support Digital professionals in executing project work and day-to-day responsibilities within each rotation, covering areas like Customer Experience/Help Desk, Business Analyst, Architecture, BI&A/Data Science, and Software Automation, to build foundational skills.
• Participate in and complete projects both individually and with cross-functional teams within the business, with these assignments providing opportunities to develop core IT skills, business acumen, systems & process familiarity, and organizational relationships.
• Collaborate flexibly with different direct managers for each rotation, while benefiting from the guidance of a dedicated mentor who will remain consistent for the entire two-year program.
• Learn and grow foundational business skills, including those offered through Charter’s internal programs such as Professional Presence, Teams and Teamwork, Presentation Skills, Project Management, Conflict Management, Emotional Intelligence, and Safety Training.
• Build technical skills through targeted training specifically within the Information Technology function, designed to enhance capabilities relevant to the rotational areas.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Business, or a related field. This is an Entry-Level role specifically for December 2026 graduates, requiring a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Experience: Information Technology or general business internship or related experience; prior experience participating in a team environment; capability to travel in the greater Milwaukee area as project load requires.
• Skills: Demonstrated communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; high level of initiative for excellence, results, and process improvement; strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with individuals at all levels within the business.
• Bonus: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products; prior experience with ERP systems; experience using generative AI tools to improve productivity or solve problems.
