Data Analyst – Taguig City | CBRE

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at CBRE, located in Taguig City. CBRE is the global leader in commercial real estate services and investments, leveraging services, insights, and data to create solutions for clients across every dimension of the industry. This role is crucial for ensuring the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of robust databases that support critical business applications, specifically focusing on utility and sustainability data integrity and security for global commercial building portfolios. You will directly contribute to improving operations and reducing costs for clients through accurate data management.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Shifting schedule, 6 days a week, weekends/holidays
• Location: In-person, Taguig City, Manila, Metro Manila

• Team: Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) – Database Analyst
• Mission: To design, develop, implement, and maintain databases that ensure accurate and secure utility and sustainability data for commercial building portfolios.
• Tech Stack: Resource Advisor, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Power BI, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, mySQL

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Collection: Accurately collect and compile utility and sustainability data from key sites across client commercial buildings globally, ensuring data quality for the main ESG data source, ‘Resource Advisor’ system.
• Bill Verification: Verify utility bills against actual meter readings and contractual agreements to prevent overcharges and identify cost savings, working alongside the CBRE procurement team.
• Trend Analysis: Analyze energy consumption and costs to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost savings, supporting improvements in energy efficiency.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on utility usage, costs, and savings for internal stakeholders, including management and sustainability teams, to support informed decision-making.
• Collaboration & Compliance: Join monthly regional calls with the Schneider Resource Advisor team and DB ECO PMO to identify and collaboratively correct gaps in utility data, ensuring all collected data meets new client sustainability reporting demands.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in the energy sector or a related field, with experience in software automation processes like Smartsheet and Power BI.
• Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and report creation, in-depth knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or mySQL, and familiarity with SharePoint.
• Bonus: Facilities Management Background is preferred. Can start ASAP and amenable to work on a shifting schedule, 6 days a week, including weekends and holidays.
