Supply Chain Rotational Analyst | Charter Steel

The Tone:
This is a full-time, early career rotational program role at Charter Steel, operating with a hybrid work schedule and primarily based in Saukville, WI. • Mission: This role is responsible for systematically developing supply chain expertise and contributing across various critical operational areas through a structured two-to-three-year rotational program.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Procurement: Engage in the strategic sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management processes, learning to secure essential materials and services efficiently and effectively for business operations.
• Supply & Demand Planning: Contribute to the development of accurate forecasts, optimize inventory levels, and participate in production scheduling to ensure material availability and meet customer demand.
• Transportation: Assist in the coordination of logistics, management of freight, and optimization of shipping routes and methods, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs across the supply chain.
• Supply Chain Transformation: Support and contribute to key initiatives focused on process improvements, implementation of new technologies, and strategic changes designed to modernize and streamline supply chain operations.
• Program Engagement: Actively participate in a structured program consisting of three 10-month rotations, benefiting from professional development, dedicated coaching, and mentorship, with guaranteed placement upon successful completion.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a closely related field, marking this as an entry-level position for May 2027 graduates.
• Experience: Possess prior Supply Chain or general business internship experience, or other related work experience; demonstrated involvement in a team-based environment.
• Skills: Exhibit strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities; display a high level of initiative for achieving excellence, driving results, and fostering process improvement; demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all organizational levels.
• Bonus: Maintain an excellent academic record with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0; willingness to travel as needed, including potential short-term relocation to other company facilities.
