New Grad Recruiter | Optomi

The Tone:
This is an early career role for recent college graduates, initiating with training in Sandy Springs, GA, before placement in Atlanta, Charlotte, DC, Detroit, or Dallas. Optomi, part of the Optomi Professional Services family of brands, is an IT staffing company that has launched a new program called the Acadomi. This role is fundamental to growing the organization by bringing in new talent and developing them into core members of the IT recruiting and sales teams.

• Mission: To train and develop recent college graduates for successful careers as Technical Recruiters within the IT staffing industry.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Train: Complete a comprehensive 3-month program with experienced Recruiters and Account Executives to learn IT recruiting.
• Develop: Work closely with a Team Lead to master candidate sourcing, interviewing, and submission techniques.
• Prospect: Gain experience in cold calling and interacting with new businesses to identify opportunities.
• Learn: Establish a strong foundation in Optomi’s recruiting and sales process for eventual transition into a Technical Recruiter role.
• Assess: Conduct phone interviews to evaluate candidate’s technical experience and suitability for job openings.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree; Entry-level career.
• Experience: 0-1 years of professional experience, with comprehensive training provided.
• Skills: Drive and determination to succeed, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to develop strong, genuine relationships with customers and consultants.
