The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Enterprise. Enterprise Mobility is a leading provider of mobility solutions, owning and operating major car rental brands like Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car through its integrated global network. This Accountant role is critical for executing core financial procedures, preparing statements, and analyzing financial data, forming the foundation for future leadership as a Controller or VP of Finance. It offers comprehensive training to develop financial management expertise, balancing marketing and operational aspects within the business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Statements: Prepare comprehensive financial statements.
• Audit Evaluations: Perform evaluations for branch audits.
• Reconciliation: Assemble bank reconciliation and account schedules.
• Journal Entries: Prepare journal entries, expense accruals, and allocations.
• Month-End Close: Participate in a timely and accurate month-end closing process.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required for this early career position, which is designed for growth into financial leadership.
• Experience: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word is necessary. A valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol-related convictions on record within the past 3 years, is also required.
• Skills: Ability to apply accounting procedures and principles, conduct financial analysis, and manage financial records.
• Bonus: Planning to attain CPA within 1-2 years is considered flexible. Flexibility for career advancement, which may include relocation outside the local area or state, is also flexible. College students within two semesters of graduation with a degree in Accounting or Finance will be considered.
