Chrysler Institute of Engineering (CIE) Training Program (2027) | Stellantis
The Tone:
This is a full-time training program at Stellantis, likely located in Auburn Hills, MI, given the nature of the role and benefits. This highly selective program is designed to develop the best and brightest college graduates into future engineering leaders for the corporation. Participants in this program will build foundational skills and gain a broad organizational perspective, contributing to the development of innovative automotive products.
The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotational Assignments: Receive challenging rotational assignments during the first two and a half years of the program.
• Skill Development: Quickly build skills and knowledge through a series of structured work assignments.
• Corporate Perspective: Gain an overall perspective of what working at Stellantis entails through a variety of assignments.
• Program Completion: Complete five distinct, six-month rotations within the corporation, experiencing multiple functional areas.
• Master’s Degree Pursuit: (For Bachelor’s degree holders) Pursue a Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, with paid tuition and dedicated class time.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position requiring an undergraduate or graduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. Other ABET-accredited engineering degrees such as Aerospace, Agricultural, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Computer Science, Materials, Mechatronics, or Metallurgical Engineering will also be considered if the candidate demonstrates desired characteristics for an opening.
• Experience: Undergraduate graduation or graduate degree acquired between December 2025 through June 2027, with a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Skills: Strong work ethic and sense of purpose, outstanding written and verbal communication, excellent organization skills, and strong leadership abilities.
• Bonus: Previous internship experience with an automotive manufacturer.
