Relationship Banker – Reno / Tahoe Market | JPMorgan Chase

The Tone:

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Experience: Deliver attentive and friendly service, actively creating a welcoming environment for clients, and consistently exceeding their expectations to foster memorable experiences.
• Relationship Cultivation: Manage assigned clients by proactively meeting with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, deeply understand their financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Technology Enablement: Educate and connect clients to cutting-edge technology solutions such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs, empowering them with banking options whenever, wherever, and however they prefer.
• Financial Guidance: Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about various banking solutions, and collaborate with and connect them to internal teams of experts for specialized financial needs.
• Operational Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to all company policies, established procedures, and regulatory banking requirements to maintain compliance and mitigate risk.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a high school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent, coupled with foundational knowledge from sales experience in Retail Banking or Financial Services.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of sales experience with demonstrated success in establishing new clients, deepening existing relationships, and delivering measurable results.
• Skills: Excellent communication abilities, both in person and over the phone, for tailoring product benefits to diverse client needs; proven capability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail; and the capacity to operate within established risk and compliance parameters. Minimum licensing requirements include the Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (and Series 63 if applicable), and Life licenses, all obtainable through JPMC’s program within 180 days of hire if unlicensed.
• Bonus: A college degree or military equivalent is preferred, along with prior experience in adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
