What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Record Management: Manage construction accounting activities across multiple projects and maintain accurate financial records.
• Invoice Processing & Payments: Process construction-related invoices and administer construction accounts payable and vendor payment processes.
• Project Cost Control: Perform job cost coding and monitor project costs to ensure fiscal accuracy.
• Compliance Documentation: Review and maintain Certificates of Insurance (COIs), lien waivers, and vendor compliance documentation.
• Month-End & Ledger Support: Track paid-when-paid payment requirements and assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Core domain knowledge in construction accounting.
• Experience: 1-3+ years of accounting experience with strong experience in construction accounting.
• Skills: Job cost coding, accounts payable administration, vendor compliance documentation management (COIs, lien waivers), tracking paid-when-paid payments, account reconciliations, general ledger maintenance.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
