This Accountant role is crucial for gaining real-world business, accounting, and financial experience, contributing to the comprehensive financial management required for a successful business. The individual will provide essential balance to the marketing and operational pieces of the business, supporting growth strategies and profitability.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and assist in overall financial reporting activities.
• Audit & Compliance: Conduct branch audit evaluations and ensure adherence to financial regulations.
• Account Management: Assemble bank reconciliations, prepare account schedules, and manage financial records.
• Expense Management: Prepare journal entries, manage expense accruals, and perform allocations.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze income statement fluctuations and contribute ideas for process improvement and cost savings.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Skills: Financial statement preparation, audit evaluation, bank reconciliation, journal entry creation, financial analysis.
• Bonus: Valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years. No drug or alcohol related events on driving record within the past five years. Must live within 30 miles of the administrative office in Tampa, FL. Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
