What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Testing: Conduct audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets.
• Data Analysis: Reconcile account differences and analyze financial data by working with client personnel.
• Report Drafting: Assist in drafting management letter comments and contributing to the audit report.
• Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate student actively working toward CPA Exam eligibility, maintaining a minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.0, and demonstrating satisfactory academic performance in major-related coursework with solid technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability in effective time management, working collaboratively in a team and independently, and performing under pressure to meet deadlines. Must possess reliable transportation for office attendance and off-site meetings.
• Skills: Strong oral and written communication, problem-solving attitude, willingness to take initiative, close attention to detail.
• Bonus: Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
