This is a hybrid role at 1Password, based in the United States or Canada, with the expectation of regular office presence in either Toronto or Austin. 1Password builds Unified Access Management solutions, including a market-leading enterprise password manager, focused on ensuring digital safety and enhancing employee productivity without compromising security. This position is crucial for creating new opportunities within enterprise organizations, helping them discover simpler and more secure ways to manage access and protect their people, applications, and devices. • Pay: $61,000–$85,000 USD yearly (commission-eligible)
• Team: Reports to the Manager of Business Development, partners with Account Executives.
• Mission: Generate qualified sales pipeline by connecting with enterprise organizations, understanding their business challenges, and initiating meaningful conversations about secure access management.
• Tech Stack: Salesforce, Outreach, 6sense, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Prospecting: Partner with multiple Account Executives (AEs) to strategically identify and prospect into new and existing enterprise accounts.
• Pipeline Generation: Generate qualified sales pipeline through personalized email, cold calling, video, social outreach, and other relevant communication channels.
• Customer Research: Research prospective customers to understand their specific business priorities, security challenges, and identify key decision-makers within their organizations.
• Tool Utilization: Use various sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, 6sense, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to effectively plan, execute, and track all outreach activities.
• AI Application: Apply artificial intelligence (AI) tools thoughtfully to gather relevant prospect context, identify useful account signals, and continuously improve personalized messaging for outreach.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates should have professional experience involving customer-facing activities such as prospecting, cold calling, emailing, networking, or researching.
• Experience: One or more years of relevant professional experience in a customer-facing or sales-related capacity.
• Skills:
• Demonstrated curiosity about prospective customers’ business priorities and the ability to identify challenges that influence their decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of making complex topics clear and relevant for diverse audiences.
• Motivation to achieve goals and a consistent, organized approach to managing outreach efforts and follow-up.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, navigate through ambiguity, and effectively use available resources to solve problems.
• Comfort using AI tools and a willingness to learn how these technologies can support effective and thoughtful sales work.
• Bonus: Experience with Salesforce and Outreach platforms. Prior experience supporting enterprise accounts or working specifically with cybersecurity products. Strong organization and time-management skills are also beneficial when balancing multiple accounts and activities.
