This role is pivotal for individuals to step into a Jnr Account Executive position, driving the initiation of new business ventures and securing new clients within the small to medium-market segment.

The TL;DR

• Mission: Secure new business within the small to medium-market segment by driving a deep understanding of Meltwater’s value proposition and navigating the entire sales cycle.

What You’ll Actually Do
• New Business Development: Proactively identify and target potential new Meltwater customers as a 360 seller within the SMB landscape.
• Quota Achievement: Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas by effectively targeting and acquiring new customers.
• Sales Cycle Management: Utilize thorough discovery processes to qualify leads, prioritize high-value opportunities, and deliver engaging demonstrations and persuasive sales presentations.
• Negotiation & Closure: Proactively manage contract negotiations to secure agreements that satisfy both customer requirements and company objectives.
• Client Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal teams like Customer Success and Sales Operations to ensure a seamless process for clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A foundation in sales, targeting small to medium-market segments, with a focus on new business development.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in business-to-business sales, with a demonstrated track record of success in new business development.
• Skills: Proficiency in negotiation tactics, ability to articulate intricate value propositions persuasively, proactive lead generation and targeted outreach, strong organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree or higher.
