What You’ll Actually Do
As a Sales and Operations Management Trainee, you will undergo continuous training and mentoring to develop a comprehensive understanding of various business functions, including sales, operations, finance, customer service, and technology. Your responsibilities will include:
• Develop: Create and implement consumer and commercial customer solutions for local and national accounts, including many Fortune 500 companies.
• Manage: Oversee Penske’s large inventory of world-class vehicles, ensuring a balance between fleet productivity, profitability, and overall customer satisfaction in a dynamic environment.
• Cultivate: Generate new business leads through proactive outreach and foster strong, lasting relationships with existing customers.
• Execute: Provide high levels of customer service to ensure complete satisfaction in all interactions and operational engagements.
• Operate: Utilize your degree to effectively run a business unit, quickly solving complex problems and driving success for Penske’s valued customers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree required, with a preferred concentration in Business or Marketing, suitable for an entry-level career.
• Experience: No specific years required for professional experience.
• Skills: Effective written and verbal communication, results-oriented approach, strong attention to detail, good time management skills, and a valid driver’s license with the ability and willingness to drive Penske vehicles, including a 26’ box truck.
• Bonus: Internship or related work experience in a customer-facing role.
