The Tone:
This is a hybrid internship at CohnReznick, located in Austin, TX, for the Winter 2028 term, approximately January to March. The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Temporary (Winter 2028, ~January-March)
• Location: Hybrid, Austin, TX (professionals encouraged to be in office/together in person on average 3 days a week)
• Team: Works closely on an engagement team made up of other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners; supported by a Performance Coach and a designated CR Friend.
• Mission: Support audit teams by gaining hands-on experience with accounting and auditing practices to accelerate professional development.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Engagement: Work on all aspects of an audit engagement, including managing cash, performing bank reconciliations, and handling accounts payable processes.
• Documentation and Support: Search for unrecorded liabilities, maintain confirmation logs, and prepare detailed audit work papers.
• Assurance Services: Assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and various accounting services for diverse clients.
• Issue Resolution: Take part in resolving audit issues by obtaining necessary evidence and making inquiries of clients.
• Daily Workflow: Support the team with daily client workflow and assist seasoned professionals in their tasks.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, on track to complete 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility, and is an Entry-Level professional.
• Experience: Successfully completed Intermediate Accounting with a grade of B or higher, and demonstrated leadership experience in student groups, activities, or team projects.
• Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills, demonstrate sharp critical thinking, comfortable navigating fast-paced environments and embracing change, and possess advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: Eager to learn new technologies and apply them in a professional setting.
