What You’ll Actually Do
• Account Analysis: Analyze and research patient accounts to ensure proper financial accounting and adherence to standards.
• Payment Resolution: Investigate and identify root causes behind incorrect or denied insurance payments to support claims resolution.
• Closing Entries: Gather essential financial data for projects designed to facilitate accurate month-end closing entries.
• Revenue Optimization: Contribute to projects specifically focused on enhancing and optimizing revenue streams for the organization.
• Goal Achievement: Successfully complete all assigned goals and objectives within the internship program.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level position for students currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with substantial upper-division coursework completed, or a Graduate Student holding an Accounting Degree. Other degrees and related coursework will also be considered.
• Experience: Proficiency in using spreadsheets and other relevant software and technology solutions is required.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong analytical abilities, effective communication skills, a detail-oriented approach, and good time management capabilities.
• Bonus: An interest in working for a mission-based community organization is highly valued.
